偶氮胂Ⅱ与铍在弱酸性溶液中形成紫色络合物,此反应在PH~5.5时可用於铍的检定,其灵敏度较常用的桑色素法及锟茜素法为高。检出限为0.013微克胂,稀度限1:4,000,000。在检出铍的条件下,有多种离子干扰,如应用适当的隐蔽剂即可避免其影响。隐蔽前后的界限比均分别求出。应用该试剂可检出铜合金中的少量铍,而不需预先分离。
