在一台安装了氢气电控喷射系统的汽油机上,通过调整喷氢脉宽,研究了氢气占进气体积分数为3%时混氢对稀燃汽油机怠速燃烧与排放性能的影响。试验结果表明,混氢后发动机指示热效率提高;火焰发展期与快速燃烧持续期缩短;过量空气系数为1.3时,平均指示有效压力的循环变动系数由原机的33.9%降低至混氢后的13.7%;稀燃条件下,进气混氢有利于改善汽油机怠速时的HC、CO与NOx排放。

阐述了稀燃天然气发动机缸内不同气体运动及其产生机理,分析了缸内气体运动对发动机燃烧过程的影响。针对稀燃天然气发动机的燃烧过程,设计了不同结构形状和尺寸的燃烧室,并分别通过数值模拟和试验方法,就不同结构的燃烧室对天然气发动机性能的影响进行了研究。结果显示,产生湍流强度大的燃烧室燃烧速度快,动力性和经济性较好,而NOx排放量也较大。
